An IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, he co-founded Sportzlive (now Sportzprix), where he spearheaded major initiatives like the Premier Badminton League—transforming it into the world’s top badminton franchise within five years—and the Hyderabad Hydras esports venture.
As a visionary entrepreneur, Mangipudi launched Casademy alongside Pullela Gopichand, arranging grassroots-to-elite training channels across multiple sports with global partners. Pullela Gopichand

Pullela Gopichand is a legendary figure in Indian badminton, winning five consecutive National Championships (1996–2000) and the prestigious All England Open in 2001—becoming only the second Indian to do so after Prakash Padukone—without dropping a single game in the tournament. He also earned medals at the Commonwealth Games (bronze individually and team silver in 1998), represented India at the Sydney Olympics, and reached a career-high world ranking of No. 5 among other global titles.
Transitioning into coaching, Gopichand founded the Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad in 2008, dedicating his resources—including mortgaging his home—to nurturing talent. As Chief National Coach since 2004, he has mentored Olympic medalists Saina Nehwal (bronze, 2012) and P. V. Sindhu (silver, 2016; bronze, 2020), earning accolades such as the Arjuna Award (1999), Khel Ratna (2001), Dronacharya Award (2009), Padma Shri (2005), and Padma Bhushan (2014). His academy has produced numerous world-class shuttlers, shaping India’s badminton renaissance.
